Cancers of the mind are the result of abnormal growths of cells in the mind. Although some growths in the mind are popularly called brain tumors, not absolutely all brain tumors are cancerous. A tumor is merely scores of cells. A harmless tumor comprises cells that are not cancerous. A malignant tumor is made up of cancers cells. Malignancy is a term reserved for malignant tumors. Malignant tumors are comprised of aggressively growing, abnormal-appearing cells known as cancer cells.
