Gottes Lebendigkeit

Ist Gott eine lebendige Realität, die zur Welt in einem Verhältnis dynamischer Interaktion steht, oder doch nur ein ohnmächtiger Begleiter, ein letzter Referenzpunkt oder ein Produkt menschlicher Arbeit an der Identität? Die systematisch-theologischen Beiträge dieses Bandes argumentieren für die erste Möglichkeit und begreifen Theologie als Entdeckung und Beschreibung der Lebendigkeit Gottes. Sie entfalten Gott als im Gebet berührbar und als in Jesus Christus risikobereit und vulnerabel. Im Geist Gottes ist auch der verletzliche Gott nicht nur selbst wahrnehmend, sondern zugleich lebensschaffend und todesüberwindend. Die christliche Hoffnung richtet sich auf eine leidenschaftliche und schöpferische Neuzuwendung Gottes, die bleibend die zerstörerischen Risiken und Nachtseiten dieser Welt verwandelt. The systematic-theological contributions in this volume argue for the first possibility and thus understand theology as the discovery and description of the living God. They display God as tangible in prayer, and as daring, risk-taking and vulnerable in Jesus Christ. In God's Spirit, the vulnerable God is not only perceiving, but also life-giving and death-conquering. Christian hope is therefore directed towards God's passionate and creative new confrontation with humanity, which transforms the destructive risks and darkness of this world.
