When Marvin Leversee moves with his family to Ramsgate, New Jersey, he is full of hopeful optimism. However, the children of Ramsgate perceive that there is something not quite right about him, that he's weird. From day one, he is bullied, humiliated, and abused by almost everybody. After three years of living hell, Mark goes to school one day with a couple of guns and does the unthinkable.
