Master Vrauth is no longer a threat but that does not mean the Sect of Thruum has gone dormant. In fact, they are actively insinuating themselves into the land with an attempt to gain the trust of the people. Sister Chelsen and Sister Shania are spearheading the new movement at the behest of The Anomaly to induct their faith as a welcoming force come to offer transformation and redemption. Their efforts could prove even more dangerous than Vrauth's madness.

While Tamaran and Farrah set out to expose the sect in the desert lands, Vallen and Zane are on the hunt. Zimbwe was taken by something not human, and they plan to get her back. Meanwhile Brother Vissus and Brother Lancel alongside Jellandrith are sucked into another event when a prophet reveals the visions he is receiving from the gods, visions that include all of them. The prophet assures them these warnings cannot be ignored. They will attempt to warn the king and the nation of that impending doom.

As all of these moving parts proceed, others are pulled into the story. What will a young otter pup, a mysterious mage, and a lecherous prophet add to the struggle? How will Master Kleck and Amaurice of Buthox fit into the developing threads? What has become of the gifted resonate, Zimbwe? Only time will tell.
