Reconcile the Truth

Just when it appears vampires Emma and Zach Matthews are headed for their happily-ever-after, news from El Salvador catapults the life-mates and their friends into a whirlwind of danger.

Francisco Navarre, former circle leader and Emma and Zach's nemesis, has escaped prison with the assistance of his long-time henchman Alexander Byrne and a band of recruits. Francisco vows his ragtag army will track down and end the vampire couple for their role in his fall from grace, and imprisonment. With those two creatures out of the way, Alexander agrees nothing can stop his master's scheme to create a new world order with vampires subjugating humans.

Reeling from the danger in Indiana, Emma and Zach return to the West Coast to lead the threat away from her parents' home. The couple narrowly escapes their pursuers' clutches, but Alexander and his recruits manage to seize their best friend, Phyllis.

Zach bands with the circle leader in Oceanside, California, where strength in numbers will help to combat Alexander's army. Emma heads to Vancouver Island in Canada, where she sequesters at the West Coast Elders' conclave and trains with the powerful leaders, who believe she is the only one with the unique skillset to eliminate Alexander.

All she needs to do is hone her talents quickly enough, and develop the mental stamina to manage all of the imminent threats... not to mention change the fate of all of humankind. Then she can finally live the peaceful life of her dreams with her beloved Zach. No problem, right?
