A replica of such study was conducted in Sokoto metropolis with a view to providing counselling interventions. Positive relationships with academic performance were significantly established; except cognitive ability and contributing factors were identified, counselling solutions were proffered. Therefore the book is useful to school guidance counsellors, psychologists and researchers who want to contribute to knowledge.
