They say life can change in an instant. I guess I didn't realize how true that is until one bad ride ends my rodeo career for good.

Suddenly, I'm thirty-six, single, and the brand new owner of The Last Lasso Farm in the middle of nowhere, Alabama. But my first night in Mills Corner, I meet a girl who lights my soul on fire. Lucy Phillips is funny, adventurous, and just the right amount of chaos, and she makes me wonder if there might be more to this town than I thought.
