The Breaking

Ellendil is a beautiful city full of intrigue and knowledge. Aurianna and Colleen must learn to strengthen their gifts in order to survive against their foes. Even though they are promised safety within the confines of the Priory Palace, it might still not be enough to protect them from Rollef and his cronies.

Rian's powers are growing, and it is only a matter of time before the world knows him for what he truly is. He slowly accepts his fate. His determination to set things right in the world emboldens him. How will he grapple with his newfound realizations as they unfold? 

Colleen and Rian's relationship solidifies more deeply, but they still face misunderstandings due to their vastly different backgrounds. They continuously reach for common ground. Will they deepen their trust in one another and become more committed?

Aurianna and Trahsten strengthen their bond, spending hours in one another's company, striving to bridge the gap between human and Wood Sprite cultures. The progress is to Aurianna's liking, but can Trahsten tolerate moving at a human's pace?
