Rev Caern has found the Disk of Dragons, a sentient Artifact with alien motives. The Disk is the first of nine mystical Artifacts needed to reestablish Sinnesemota, the empire of peace, but the Disk sure doesn't seem to help with his shi magic.

Oh, and a dragon who wants Rev dead, the same dragon charged with protecting the Rose.
