Great Palestinian Catastrophe

In the shadow of the Great Palestinian Nakba, the Arab nation suffers from a deep wound in its heart. This catastrophe caused a profound crisis and an irreparable rift in the national and cultural fabric. The painful events witnessed by the Arabs during that period remain a testament to the magnitude of the loss and bewilderment that afflicted peoples who suddenly found themselves facing a bitter reality and the loss of their land. The search for the causes of the defeat has divided the nation into factions and sects, with some blaming the major powers' support for Zionism, while others believe the causes lie in the enemy's organizational and material capabilities. Between this and that, some express their belief that the inaction of some Arab leaders and the lack of unity played a fundamental role in the aggravation of the disaster. In light of this Arab contradiction, this Nakba is the deepest and most painful wound, surpassing in its destructive effects even the disaster of Andalusia with its illustrious civilization. The Jewish state that was established on our land is not merely a colonialist movement; it is a blatant challenge to all the challenges the nation has faced throughout its long history.
