12 Wonderful Words

These words collectively encourage thoughtful, intentional communication. They remind us to be mindful of our own actions, considerate of others, and purposeful in how we convey our messages. By applying these principles, communication becomes more effective, empathetic, and impactful.

These words have taken several years to gather together and I write all 12 each day as a personal reminder to myself of how I want to conduct myself in a conversation. I have found that in meetings and in situations that demand conflict resolution, the words guide me in being a much better communicator. Through constant mindfulness of these words one is able to collapse one's ego, and with ego aside, conversations open up in a whole new way.

Some of the words have similar impacts on our lives and some of the benefits of one word may also be an attribute of another. I have not shied away from including the learnings applied to one word that has been applied to another, so that you can take one chapter alone or you can take them as a collective.

Can you use all 12 at once? I am not sure. I think that being mindful of the power of these 12 wonderful words expands your mental awareness during communication and inspires better approaches to each interaction.
