It was, admittedly, an abnormal day for John. Leaving his house without being forced into it by circumstances or family was a rare occurrence, but it was a nice day in London, and he fancied a burger. Unfortunately, the end of the world comes before he can take a single bite.

He soon realizes that he has a unique system. When he does something cool, like kill monsters, he gains Aura points, which he can spend on permanent power-ups. Act lame, and his points go down. It almost seems like a cruel joke, but the Aura system is as generous as it is judgmental. Upgrades. Attributes. Spells. Skills. Everything is on the table.
