Every patient's trauma is cataloged into an "axiom"-a precise, load-bearing sentence forged in childhood absolute qualifiers (always, never, entirely) that acts as a sentient linguistic parasite, feeding on their vitality.

James Pedero is the institute's quietest asset, capable of diagnosing the exact grammar of a patient's suffering. But when his radical methods begin triggering genuine, unquantifiable breakthroughs in patients like architectural savant Clara Lin, he draws the dangerous, hyper-defensive wrath of clinic director Dr. Melissa Alonzo. Suspended and stripped of his credentials, James is forced into a brutal journey of self-deconstruction. Armed with the fragmented, chaotic asylum journals of a forgotten pioneer, Thomas Villamor, James must face his own terrifying core loop: "I am only safe if I am invisible."
