Three bricks have vanished from the Great Wall of China. The tour guide says Ming soldiers are stealing them back. The village elders whisper warnings.

But 12-year-old Alex and 9-year-old Mia don't believe in ghosts. They believe in science.

When they sneak to the wall at midnight and watch a brick fall on its own - the ground beneath it wet and shining - they discover the real culprit isn't spirits. It's water. Gallons of it. From a resort with an infinity pool pointed straight at history.
