Kinzearl

Since her mother's unexpected death, thirteen-year-old Auna has struggled with a strange gift: she doesn't just understand the emotions of those around her-she can feel them. Sometimes she can even see them.

This gift is particularly strong when it comes to animals; especially the fox, raccoon, and raven who seem to appear whenever she needs them most.

But when Auna follows the raven into the forest in search of her missing father, she accidentally crosses into Kinzearl-a magical realm of shapeshifters, mystical energies and hidden secrets her family has kept from her for years.

Here Auna discovers the truth: she was chosen to be a Skipper, one of the rare energies capable of traveling between realms. Her mother was a Skipper before her, and the powers awakening inside Auna are stronger than she could have ever imagined.

There's just one problem: Her father has skipped into Kinzearl too... And he's in danger. Auna has only hours to hone her powers and save her father before he gets stuck in this other realm forever- or worse. But the deeper she ventures into Kinzearl, the more secrets she uncovers about her mother, her father, and herself.

Filled with magical creatures, hidden worlds, humor, and mystery, Kinzearl: The Skipper's Choice is a fantasy adventure about discovering who you are and finding the courage to trust the things that make you different.
