Connie was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, but has lived elsewhere as an adult. Most of her time was in the Southwest with her husband and son. She considers those her "rugged years." An avid gardener and oil painter, she has switched gears. This is her first children's novel. She was inspired to pick up her pen after a difficult event put many children in crisis. With this book, her goal is to bring some giggles and sweet dreams. She appreciates the help and encouragement of CW, her husband of 50 years, her son Geoffrey, and the members of her Bible study group.
