The Dark Man

A young woman in desperate need of a break away from her busy hustle and bustle life, finds an ad online for what seems to be exactly what she needs. A secluded lakeside cabin with no neighbors anywhere nearby sounded like heaven to her when she read the description, and to seal the deal, it was available this weekend coming up.

Accompanied by her little dog, Sharon and Beau head out and drove into the night as they tried to get to the cabin before the impending heavy rain and thunder storm hit. What they didn't know though, is what horrors were already awaiting them on that dark rainy night.

A few miles after turning off the main road and onto a dark desolate roadway that the young woman had to use to get to their rental cabin, Sharon felt a sharp jolt as she hit something in the road in front of her. It was after stopping to see what she had hit, that coywolves with crimson red eyes come out of the darkness and encircle the young woman on the roadway. Snarling and snapping their teeth at her, they show aggression towards her that the woman had never experienced before from any other animal. After barely making it back to her car, the coywolves attacked.

Meanwhile, in the background, a well-dressed man wearing all black steps out of the shadows to observe from afar the game of cat and mouse that his children were now playing with the frightened young woman.

After finally being able to restart her car, Sharon was able to escape the rage of the coywolves wrath. Driving as fast as she safely could, they finally arrive at the cabin in the woods. It is here that the young woman finds herself entwined deeper in a fight for both of their survival. And with this battle, this is where the real terror begins.

Who is the mysterious man dressed in black that seems to control the fiery eyed coywolves actions, and what does he want from the young woman? What is his goal? Is there any escape from him and his minions for the young woman and her little dog? You will have to read the book to find out what horrors she has to endure, and if she comes out alive. There are so many twists and turns in this book to draw you in. If you like horror, you really should like this book.
