The Nest, Washington

The Nest: Washington

The war against the Nest is far from over.

When reports emerge of savage attacks in the tunnels beneath downtown Washington, D.C., authorities initially dismiss them as isolated incidents. But as mutilated bodies begin appearing in subway stations, service tunnels, and government buildings, a terrifying truth emerges: carnivorous nutria rats have returned-and this time they are multiplying beneath the very heart of American power.

While the city struggles to contain the growing threat below ground, a far deadlier conspiracy is unfolding above it.

The Covenant of the Nest has activated its most ambitious operation yet: The Seven Angels of the Apocalypse. Hidden among the population and prepared to die for their cause, seven highly trained operatives have been tasked with striking at the political and military leadership of the United States. Their targets include lawmakers, intelligence chiefs, military commanders, and those responsible for protecting the nation itself.

As panic spreads through Washington and the body count rises, international counterterrorism expert Tank and his allies are drawn into a desperate race against time. With the rats emerging from beneath the city and the Angels moving into position, they must uncover the assassins' identities before the American government is thrown into chaos.

From the shadowy depths of the Metro tunnels to the corridors of power on Capitol Hill, the battle for the future of the free world is about to begin.

Explosive, terrifying, and packed with relentless suspense, The Nest: Washington is the fourth instalment in Conrad Jones's bestselling horror-thriller series, where humanity faces an enemy that thrives in darkness-and feeds on fear.

The Nest is growing.

And Washington is next.
