Brainstorm

The story of Laura Sanders, a devoted, wife and mother living in rural southern Ontario is an unexpected tail of suffering, loss and redemption. After a great tragedy, Laura's life began to fall apart to the point where she began to lose everything, perhaps even her own life. It is a courageous tale of a woman who fought against an unseen enemy, losing hope at every corner while alienating friends and family along the way. She struggles to just survive without even understanding what she's fighting against. She has become a changed person who becomes toxic to all those around her. Her brain has changed her feelings and attitude have changed. She feels incapable of love or even mild concentration enough to read a book. She searches and searches for the answers only to come up, empty each and every time. Her life deteriorates to the depths that can only result in the taking her own life. It is a story of mental health that has become all too common in today's society and is an issue that is often overlooked or downplayed due to the stigma attached to it. Despite part of a well adjusted farm family with everything going for them her journey unfolds with dire consequences demonstrating that serious drama is not confined to Hollywood.
