Human Addictions

Humans always seek pleasure in life, humans venerate pleasure, but are humans sentient or feelers by nature as science claims? Because if humans are defined as feelers and if they are expected to behave as feelers, then this remains their meaning in life and in the world, always feeling good, always feeling everything, and always living life feeling the best, even addicted.
