There are numerous indications of a convergence of views between Iran and the United States. Simultaneously, we observe significant cooperation between the Iranian and American administrations on many issues. Their cooperation in the war on Iraq was acknowledged by both sides. This convergence stems from the shared ideological framework that guides both parties in all matters concerning the Arab region in general, and Iraq in particular. There is no fundamental divergence in their perspectives; both have interests in Iraq and other Arab countries, even if their visions differ. The dominant characteristic of Iranian interests is ideological. The United States, for its part, also possesses an ideological project that it brought to the region, namely, imposing its cultural, economic, and military hegemony over what has been termed the "e;Greater Middle East."e;A state of hostility between America and Iran is being manipulated to deceive regional and international actors, creating confusion among some Arab states and making them more eager to ally with the United States and maintain military bases in the Middle East, thus serving the interests of both sides. The continued open hostility between Iran and the United States is escalating tensions in the region, pushing major industrialized nations to align themselves more closely with the US to protect their economic interests and ensure the flow of oil to their factories and economies. Iran seeks to achieve several objectives through the Palestinian issue. On the one hand, it attempts to pressure the United States into allowing it to dominate the region by adopting the central cause, or so it is presented to these countries. On the other hand, it tries to gain recognition from Arab states, particularly the Gulf states, of its leadership and pioneering role in confronting and defending the most crucial issue for the region. But if there is an Iranian-American understanding, how do we explain the American actions against the Iranian nuclear program and Iran's activities in the region? What exactly is the nature of the relationship between Iran and the United States? Is it one of agreement or disagreement?
