Matters of the Soul

About the author: Ruth Cherry, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist in private practice. She specializes in the integration of psychological and spiritual dynamics to promote healing. About the book: How we know our inner world defines how we experience external reality."e; From that initial sentence in Matters of the Soul, a format for growth is presented with sections for Exercises and Reflections. Questions to spur journal writing encourage readers to make the material their own. Imagery exercises guide readers deeper within themselves to explore as yet unknown realms. The result of doing these inner world explorations is the development of a mature spirituality anchored in the seamless unconscious continuum, psychological and spiritual. Co-creating, passion, presence, and power become personally meaningful concepts. We all have these resources inside us but no book has clarified these concepts or taught the reader how to work with them. Matters of the Soul empowers the reader to take the next step in her unique journey by expanding the notion of the unconscious from a storehouse of psychological injuries to a vast horizon of spiritual possibility. Offering an experience of change in a workbook, Matters of the Soul opens the door to a new way of thinking and being which the reader may use over a lifetime.
