When the Wind Answered

Stella is emotionally shattered, struggling to protect herself and her children from the turmoil surrounding her husband's family. As hopelessness closes in, her lifelong friend Jane offers an unexpected challenge: walk the ancient Camino de Santiago across northern Spain, a demanding physical journey she believes will help Stella regain her strength and clear her mind.  Though both women are atheists, Stella accepts the six-week pilgrimage, hoping the journey will help her find the courage to face the life waiting for her at home.  But as they travel through medieval villages, rugged mountains, and centuries-old towns, strange encounters and unexplained events begin to challenge everything they believe. What starts as a physical challenge slowly becomes a journey of unexpected spiritual awakening.  As Stella's fear gives way to faith, she begins to wonder whether some things are more than coincidence, and whether miracles can happen to those who are willing to believe.  Inspired by true events, When the Wind Answered is a story of courage, hope, and transformation, a journey that reveals how even the most skeptical heart can be changed by extraordinary grace.  Rosalee Regalado
